As a followup to the dream posted yesterday
about famine I will offer the following confirmations. Prior to
leaving for Costa Rica I received a call from a pastor who had
recently completed a 40 day fast (March 09). At the end of the
fast the Lord gave him a word and a scripture. The word was "I
want you to ask the Kansas farmers for the corners of their wheat
fields. I want them to empty their combines first then cut the
corners. I want exactly the corners." The scripture was from the
book of Ruth 2:2 and Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, " Let me go
to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in
whose eyes I find favor."
As I prayed for confirmation concerning the pastor's word, the
Lord gave me a scripture. Leviticus 23:22 When you reap the
harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very
corners of your field, nor gather the gleaning of your harvest;
you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am the Lord
your God. The Lord had His own plan to take care of the hungry
and needy and it didn't include food stamps or government
bailouts. The poor and aliens were allowed into the fields to
glean the corners after the main sheaves had been brought into the
threshing floor.
Confirming dream April 09. I was sitting in a line of wheat
trucks at the local elevator, waiting for the line to move up so I
could dump my truckload into the elevator. As the line slowly
moved forward (it is not uncommon at harvest time to have many
trucks waiting), people kept coming out toward the line and
signalled me to get out of the line. The line kept moving forward
and men kept signalling me to get out of the line. I finally got
out of the line and followed their signal and parked the truck by
itself out of the line. Interpretation of the dream: the Lord is
saying hold back wheat for the famine, for the alien and the
orphan, get it out of the stream going into the elevators.
Genesis 41:48 So he (Joseph) gathered all the food of these seven
years which occurred in the land of Egypt, and placed the food in
the cities; he placed in every city the food from its own
surrounding fieldsl v49 Thus Joseph stored up grain in great
abundance like the sand of the sea, until he stopped measuring it,
for it was beyond measure. v56 when the famine was spread over
all the face of the earth, then Joseph opened all the storehouses,
and sold to all the Egyptians; and the famine was severe in the
land of Egypt.
Brothers and sisters, storing up is for the end time harvest OF
SOULS. James 2:15 if a brother or sister is without clothing and
in need of daily food, v16 and one of you says to them, "Go in
peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what
is necessary for their body, what use is that? v17 even so faith,
if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. Proverbs 25:21 if
your enemy is hungry give him food to eat; and if he is thirsty
give him water to drink; v22 for you will heap burning coals upon
his head, and the Lord will reward you.God bless you, in Jesus
